The TTP Claims Responsibility for the Suicide Bomb Blast In Pakistan's Quetta
A recent suicide bomb attack has rocked Pakistan claiming the lives of about 4 people with 15 injured. The mayhem happened in Quetta. Quetta was formerly known as Shalkot, it is the largest and provincial capital of Baluchistan
Meanwhile, a group known as Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, also known as the Pakistani Taliban or the TTP has claimed responsibility for the heinous attack claiming that 25 people were killed in the process instead of the believed figures.
According to the the deputy inspector general of the Quetta police, the attack was targeted on the Pakistani security force.
The attack comes less than two weeks after multiple deaths were recorded in another district; the Mangi Dame area if the Ziarat district where 3 security personnel were killed.
According to officials, the incident happened while the security personnel were patrolling in their vehicle and ran over a landmine which exploded, killing all three of them with many injured.
